A more personal response to Shenk's book, which purports to prove "Why Everything You've Been Told About Genetics, Talent, and IQ Is Wrong." While it is a remarkable accomplishment of finding recent research to support his notion that there is no such thing as "giftedness," unfortunately Shenk drew the wrong conclusion from a hodge-podge of data from disparate disciplines.
